Aldi haul!

Aldi had a few goodies in their weekly specials sale which started Saturday.

I managed to get some hiking boots, some thermal tops and bottoms, woollen socks, water resistant pants and a sleeping bag onezee (I missed out on my size last time).

The boots I grabbed first didn't fit, sizing is quite small. I am usually an 8 and I had to back and grab a 9, which fit much nicer. Unsure on the clothes as I haven't tried them on yet.

Last time with the onezee I got a medium as the size was height based, I was well within the recorded height but it definitely wasn't long enough in the torso, unfortunately when I took it back they were out of large, so this time I snapped up the large as soon as I saw it! Fits much nicer (I'm 5'3 but the height is for 6'1 - 6'9 from memory).

I got the high top boots, for extra protection from sticks and whatnot and for extra ankle support. The boots were quite cheap at $30 compared to some at Anaconda etc for about $120. Will be interesting to see how they last and how long they stay comfortable, but at $30 I'm already pretty impressed!
